6 Reasons to Start Kahoot!ing

  1. It’s flexible.
  2. It’s simple.
  3. It’s diverse.
  4. It’s engaging.
  5. It’s global.
  6. It’s free.

Technical issues: The only issues I have found is that you need to make sure you have the tools in the class room for everyone to participate, whether in a group or individually. As well as you would need wifi in your school for this to work.

Aesthetics: KAHOOT! has a very eye catching aesthetic. They use bright colors and simple setup to make sure it keeps your attention and to make sure anyone could use it!

Usability:

  • 70 Million monthly users
  • 1.6 Billion users since it launched in 2013
  • 1 Million corporate users

Target Audience: anyone, i.e. corporate offices, teachers, students, anyone who wants to learn

Recommendation: I would definitely recommend this to any teacher or student to use. As a college student it can help me learn interactively still and quiz my knowledge. It also is amazing for teachers to use to help learn what the students know and keep them actively engaged in learning.

Assessment: I absolutely love using KAHOOT! It is very good at keeping people actively engaged in the material they are supposed to be learning or reviewing. I have used it even in college classes, and the professor gives extra test points to the winning team. The whole setup of KAHOOT! is extremely simple and user friendly, which I love as someone who is not the best with technology. The Instructional Models are defiantly being met with this website in my opinion, because it has so many options for the users to learn, engage, and analyze the material.
